Resources

Our mission revolves around lasting growth. We are fortunate to be supported by a community that strives to provide the best resources, opportunities, and events for Individuals with IDD to help accomplish that mission.

Here, we’ve compiled some of the resources our Host Home Providers use to foster growth in the Individuals in their care. If you know of additional resources, information, or events that should be added to this library, please contact us.

Family Caregiver Option

We help guide families through their choices for providing care for their IDD children who are 18 and over. In 2008, Colorado established the Family Caregiver Act, which provides broader choices for Individuals who are already receiving services funded by the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF), in terms of where and from whom services are received. Eligible family members who meet state requirements can be paid for providing this care. Learn more about the Family Caregiver Act.

Zero Fare for Better Air – Ride RTD for Free

During July and August, RTD will offer zero fares across its system as part of the Zero Fare for Better Air initiative. This collaborative, statewide initiative, in partnership with the Colorado Energy Office, is designed to reduce ground-level ozone by increasing the use of public transit. Current RTD customers will not have to use or purchase fare products from July 1 – August 31, during Colorado’s high ozone season.
